Royal Navy Yeovilton Launch Narrowboat!

Royal Navy Air Station Yeovilton launched a slightly different type of vessel. The station took ownership of its brand new narrowboat ‘Warneford VC’ from boat builders ABC Leisure Group.
The Royal Navy Air Station’s Commanding Officer, Commodore Chris Palmer and his second in command, Commander Alistair Willis formally took delivery of the brand new narrowboat at a high profile ceremony on 25 March 2009, at Hilperton Marina.
ABC Leisure Group have been hand building high quality steel narrowboats for more than 30 years. The qualified team of craftsmen not only build for private boaters but also for the company’s holiday hire fleet.
